The problem
When I started analyzing hundreds of websites, I have learned that almost every single website that I audited was losing over 97% of hot, real prospects.
My colleagues in my industry discussed it as normal, but for me, this is not normal to just accept the 97% of lost opportunities.
So, I started my journey into searching for reasons why and looking for solutions. This journey is challenging as I could not find anyone who was doing anything about the problem.
The web designers that I had spoken to have no clue on how to solve the problem as they were trained in graphic design but not in the lead regeneration strategy.
I spoke to some are the best marketing experts in the world and I found that they did not have a way to crack the code either their solution was you just simply add more traffic.
But I do not agree with that since generating more website traffic is very expensive! You don’t go pay more money for more traffic without first fixing the site.
The solution
So, my solution? Fix your website to spot hot prospects and re-engage these prospects, so they come back to you again and again.
My team spent the next two years researching and testing hundreds of different ways to capture more leads on a website. We knew that if we could increase conversions from 3% to 6% it would literally double the sales opportunities for business.
We created a mathematical formula that assigned a point system to each website visitor based on their behavior. Every visitor was graded with a score from 1 to 10 before leaving the website, then we put our attention on anyone with a 7 or greater.
We created a map of micro-goals macro goals and triggers actions like watching a video, downloading content, time on the page and clicking on certain buttons. All these actions receive points and they tell us how likely they are to buy.
We tested that theory on millions of visits and perfected the scoring system. This method is extremely accurate, and it is the best scoring model for identifying new customers that are ready to buy.
We tested every way imaginable to reengage those hot prospects who left the website and we discovered that video marketing was not only the cheapest but also the most effective way to re-target customers and bring them back to the website.
The importance of video marketing
Additionally, we have learned that the YouTube video is the most engaging content available. This platform builds relationships with prospects better than any other media video. This is the most shared content on earth.
Studies show that a prospect who watches your YouTube video after leaving your website is four times more likely to buy from you regardless of your price.
Here’s the best part: we are getting YouTube engagement for just pennies. If you are on a mission to turn stagnant websites into productive websites, your website should be your hardest-working employee working non-stop and around the clock to identify your hottest prospects and leads. Triggering a series of videos to bring them back home this is how marketing will be done in the future.
