How to resolve no impressions on Google Ads?
Check the status of your ad groups and corresponding ads
Make sure these are available. Oftentimes, you could be working at the campaign level and as you’ve created the ad groups, these won’t be active especially if you’re duplicating ad groups.
Make sure that you’ve got your keywords in your ad groups when you’re setting up. If you’re using the dashboard, it’s so easy to skip those steps, and if you don’t have your keywords, that’s another reason why you have your Google Ads approved but no impressions.
Too low budget
If your budget is too low, you’re going to see that it is not feeding out in addition to budgets. The same thing with the bids as well too.
You give it a couple of days and let it run. Once your ads are going through the approval phase, it can take a couple of days for them to start feeding out. However, make sure to always check your budget and check it its good.
Check your targeting
Make sure that you’re targeting is not limited or too narrow for the ads. Open up that targeting window and take a look at the maps and at the radius. Know where you’re at and you’ll get a count up on the top right-hand corner in your target. It will show you what the demographic account is. It should show the number of searches that are available.
Check the targeting, the demographic, and all the areas and make sure that you’ve set everything up.
Extend your targeting
Extend your targeting a little bit more and broaden the placement location. This will ensure that you’re really covering the right area as well.
Check your bids
This is probably the most common one that I see. The bids are just not where they need to be, and it’s possible that your bids are just too low for your ads to enter the ad auction.
A lot of people worry about bidding too much. Remember the way the Google algorithm works is that if the average CPC is $8 and you were to bid $15, Google is not going to charge you $15. What Google will do is to charge you a penny over the next competitor that you’ve just beat in the auction.
Conclusion
So these are the most common reasons and factors why you are not receiving any impressions when you are running your Google Ads.
You can easily use the above factors to check and diagnose why you have zero impressions. Hopefully, this article helps you resolve the issue.
