What is the use of negative keywords in Google ads?
The negative keywords can help you manage your keywords list more efficiently. For the record, you can add about 5,000 negative keywords per list.
However, most people often make the mistake of placing all their negative keywords at the campaign level. This strategy can be confusing in Google ads. I suggest for a start, you manage your negative keywords at the account level, then run a different negative keyword list at the campaign level. It is more practical and manageable to run your at the account level if it applies across the company or the board. I will show you how to do both of these strategies so you will have an idea of how you can properly manage your negative keywords.
