Think like the customer and develop messaging that will attract them with well-planned and creative content. That being said, you need to connect Google Ads with Google Analytics to be able to properly run your campaigns and to be able to watch and track closely the actions that take place after you run it.
Tracking your ads campaigns using Analytics help you make smarter decisions when it comes to how your ads do—how people are interacting on your website, how long they stay, if they are watching videos or not and most importantly if they are converting (which is a fancy way of saying if they contact you).
Fortunately, linking your Google Ads and Google Analytics accounts is very straightforward. But before we dive into the steps, make sure that both your Google Ads and Google Analytics account use the same Gmail address so they link right together. Another thing you need to check is to make sure you are an admin on both of these accounts to make the changes.

How to link Google Analytics to Google Ads
First, go to your Google Ads account and select Tools and Measurement, then Google Analytics from the drop-down menu. Then, click the admin button in the top left corner.

Select the domain you want to link.You can then link it to your Google Ads account and choose which profiles within the domain you like to link.

There is an option on auto-tagging that you may see as well. I recommended that you let Google auto-tag your links. Here’s why and it is connected to the next steps you need to do after linking Google Ads and Google Analytics.
How to set-up your campaign tracking in Google Analytics
For you to see your Google Ads data in Google Analytics, you have to set-up campaign tracking. This is simply telling Google Ads to send data to your Google Analytics account. And the easiest way to do this is to turn on the auto-tagging feature.
Just go to your Google Ads account and click on the Settings section. Under your Account Settings tab, select the Auto-tagging option and click the checkbox to enable automatic tracking of all Google Ads URLs. Don’t forget to save the changes.
