The best, most effective video marketing tips for 2020 have arrived.
Youtube has 1 Billion hours of video watched every day, 2 billion active users and 500 hours of video uploaded every single minute around the clock.
Youtube is the #2 search engine on the planet earth next to Google and that’s exactly why you’ll want watch,. I’m often asked about different types of video. There is video on Youtube,
Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and everywhere online.
The mistake I see many people make is they try to use video in all places equally.
My advice to you is this.
Pick a Lane!
And master that one. Do your research and decide where you’re going to concentrate. Our agency specializes in Google ads and Yotube ads and so my typical client is on Youtube learning about ongoing changes in digital marketing. So my lane is Youtube. I still post my Yotube video on Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Reddit, Quora and on my blog. But my #1 concentration is on Youtube because after generating millions of video views for our clients and measuring results we have a solid proof of concept and we stick to it.
I’m personally on day 28 of a 100 day challenge to grow my Youtube channel. I’ll be posting a new video every day for 100 days and along my journey I’ll share those results with you. You’ll get to follow along with me and see the before and afters.
But I’m also not waiting. We use the paid platform
on Google Ads to promote our video and get it in front of our audiences and we get tens of thousands of views on specific videos we want to promote.
So you can do the same thing and you can create video on a regular basis and build your audience organically like I am or you can create 2-3 good videos and put them in Google ads and deliver them to your audience automatically.
We get video views for a low as 1 penny each. It’s amazing how effective it is. Video is our #1 generator of business in our own agency. We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk.
So here’s how I want you do start your video marketing.
Do your keyword research. You can download a Chrome plugin called Tube Buddy. Use it to search for terms that your ideal customers would be interested in.
As you search, you will find videos that have viewing traffic but not much competition.
For example, the term ‘how to find a good dentist’ has marginal searches on
Youtube and it’s ranked really low, it has a 28 out of 100 chance to rank.
However if we keep looking in Tube Buddy, we see the term ‘Good dentist vs Bad Dentist’, that has a good amount of search volume, it’s not too competitive and you have an 83 out of 100 chance of ranking. That’s a great video topic to make a video on.
But here’s one of my marketing tips for 2020. You can use the slow organic approach but you don’t have to be limited to that alone.
At the same time, you can find the biggest most competitive topics that people are searching for and create a video about that. In Youtube ‘how to’ videos work really well.
Don’t worry about trade secrets, just help people. I don’t worry about anyone stealing my ideas, take them. I think if you help people that, it will come back around to you. Take your topic related video and then run a discover video ad in Youtube.
